Working in Kyoto, starts with biking to work チャリンで通勤

This is the route from my apartment to my company. I take this route to work, rain or shine. I have no idea of the exact distance but it takes me about 15 min in total. It is pretty near.
これは自宅から会社までのルートです。晴れでも雨でもこのルートで毎日通勤しています。距離はよく分からないですが、だいたい１５分かかります。結構近いところです。

This is the bike I use to commute to work everyday. It is a simple folding bike, I am not too sure of the maker. A colleague lends it to me and I really appreciate that. The bike is too small for me but without it, it will take me 50 min to go to work on foot.

これは通勤用の自転車です。簡単な折りたたみの自転車で、メーカーは不明。会社の同僚に貸していただいたもので、とてもありがたいです。私にとって小さすぎる自転車ですが、この自転車がないと徒歩で５０分もかかります。

This the a messenger bag from Chrome (limited edition) I have been using for 3 years. It is tough, rain-proof and stylish. I once sent it for a free repair for the buckle in San Francisco when I was there. I guess it is going to serve me for at least another 3 years.

これは三年くらい使っているクロームのメッセンジャーバッグ（限定版）です。丈夫で防水性のある、お洒落なカバンです。サンフランシスコにいる時本店に無料でバックルの修理をしてもらいました。まだまだ最低にあと三年も使えると思います。

For safety, I have added a red blinker at the back and a white blinker in front. There are not many street lights in some places, especially in some narrow roads in residential areas.

安全のため後ろに赤ブリンカーを、前に白ブリンカーをつきました。街灯が少ないところがあったり、特に住宅街の狭い道には街灯がほとんどありません。

This is the bridge I cross twice everyday to work or to the train station. It has a cool name called Kangetsukyo、it means Moon Watching Bridge. People go for mon watching on this bridge.
これは私が毎日仕事に行くと時と駅に行く時に渡る橋です。観月橋、とてもクールな名前だと思います。人はこの橋の上に月見するの？
